Mais do que os três pontos, a torcida do Flamengo teve motivos especiais para fazer a festa no Castelão: os golaços marcados por Pablo Marí e Gabriel Barbosa. O zagueiro espanhol, com um voleio de canhota, abriu o placar após jogada ensaiada de lateral cobrado na área rival e com desvio de Rodrigo Caio.

O segundo gol, marcado pela camisa 9, foi construído com uma longa toca de passes, com a bola passando pelos pés de 10 jogadores do Flamengo até encontrar a rede. O time de Jorge Jesus trocou passes por mais de um minuto até Gabigol tabelar com Berrío e marcar. Só Gerson não participou do golaço.

ARRASCAETA: UM ESPETÁCULO À PARTE

A vitória já estava determinada quando Rafinha chegou à linha de fundo, nos acréscimos da etapa final, levantou a cabeça e cruzou. A bola foi de encontro ao pé esquerdo de Giorgian De Arrascaeta. O uruguaio, com uma bicicleta perfeita, acertou o ângulo de Diogo Silva, do Ceará, e selou o triunfo por 3 a 0.

Mantendo a prática de realizar mudanças pontuais no time partida à partida, Jorge Jesus promoveu a estreia de João Lucas como titular do Flamengo. O lateral-direito fez uma boa apresentação diante do Ceará, que forçou o jogo pelas laterais. No primeiro tempo, o camisa 32 evitou gol do Vozão tirando a bola quase em cima da linha. Sentiu o desgaste e foi substituído por Rafinha.

VAR ATUA COM PRECISÃO

O árbitro Wilton Pereira Sampaio (Fifa/GO) contou com o auxílio do vídeo em três momentos e a participação foi positiva. Foram intromissões rápidas, nas quais três gols – dois do Ceará e um do Fla – foram anulados de forma correta. Thiago Galhardo, Tiago Alves e Gabriel Barbosa estavam em posição irregular. O árbitro de vídeo na partida deste domingo foi Caio Max Augusto Vieira (RN).

Ugra: No defence for officials not acting on crucial information

The Supreme Court will examine in detail the BCCI clause that made a significant change allowing “administrators” to have a “commercial interest” in the IPL and the Champions League T20. As part of hearings in the 2013 IPL corruption case, the two-judge bench of Justice TS Thakur and Justice FM Kalifullah will listen to arguments around the validity of the clause when the hearings resume on Tuesday afternoon.Speaking as part of the first of two ‘interventions’ in the IPL corruption case, Rajeev Dhawan, counsel appearing for former BCCI president IS Bindra, said clause 6.2.4 was “responsible for the mess we [referring to Indian cricket] are in since 2008.” It needed to be examined more closely in the court, he said because cricket, once described as “the greatest game on earth” was now, “going to the dogs.”When the issue of examining clause 6.2.4 was first raised, N Srinivasan’s counsel Kapil Sibal argued that Bindra was an “interested” party in the original litigant Cricket Association of Bihar’s (CAB) case against his client and the BCCI and therefore it should not be permitted. Dhawan argued that he was going to tackle the subject on three counts: the argument of autonomy, conflict of interest and “where do we go from here.”Dhawan also pointed out that the BCCI had both “a commercial and public interest” and said, “it can’t be that the commercial interest should dominate over the public interest.” Dhawan called the clause a “bombshell” for the parties concerned. The clause allowing BCCI administrators to have a commercial interest in IPL and Champions League T20 was only amended after the first season of the IPL. The Chennai Super Kings franchise, owned by N Srinivasan’s India Cements, thus came into existence and participated in the first IPL season well before the BCCI constitution was amended in September 2008.The bench said that there was a choice: either the court could itself rule on the “validity” of the clause or it could be studied by a new committee to extend its example and precedent to other sports bodies. “We can’t gloss over 6.2.4. The BCCI has to defend the amendment,” Justice Thakur said and the bench decided to hear the matter in its entirety on Tuesday.The clause in question

The BCCI had amended clause 6.2.4 of the regulations for players, team officials, umpires and administrators on September 25, 2008, shortly after the first season of the IPL. Before the amendment the clause read: “No administrator shall have, directly or indirectly, any commercial interest in the matches and events conducted by the board.” After the change on September 25, 2008, it read: “No administrator shall have directly or indirectly any commercial interest in any of the events of the BCCI, excluding IPL, Champions League and Twenty20.”
There is a possibility that arguments around clause 6.2.4 could also extend to another key amendment in the BCCI’s constitution referred to as clause 15 that ended the rotational system of presidentship under the argument of a “meritocratic” leadership of the Board. It is the amendment that will allow Srinivasan to stand for election from the East Zone though his three-year term as president from the South has ended.

The hearings in the Supreme Court today opened with arguments by Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra and IPL COO Sundar Raman before Dhawan made his first arguments which will conclude on Tuesday.IPL COO Sundar Raman, represented by  counsel V Giri argued that he was appearing in court to defend the Mudgal committee’s findings against him which covered two topics: the first being in contact with Vindoo Dara Singh, who was termed as the “contact” of a bookie and was arrested along CSK official Gurunath Meiyappan. The second was about not responding to information about betting by IPL owners five months before the first arrests of IPL players on May 16, 2013.Raman said he was merely an employee of the BCCI and had no commercial stake in the IPL and could not, “decline any calls that come to me,” including those of Vindoo who was described as a “celebrity.” The counsel said Raman could not have acted without evidence and doing so would have put his job in “jeopardy.”With reference to the information passed onto him by YP Singh, head of the ICC Anti Corruption and Security Unit, about rumours of betting by two owners in the IPL, Raman said, YP Singh had not given him anything “in writing” and that it had not been “actionable”  information.The bench responded by asking why Raman had not followed up on the information: “You knew [the] role of officials in betting, you did nothing despite the knowledge, was it like putting your job at stake?”When argued that there had been no evidence, Justice Thakur asked Raman’s counsel, “What material did you expect? Did you think these people keep cash books and ledgers? Someone calls and says, ABC is betting, what will you ask? You will say you need actionable information?”Kalifullah then asked whether Raman had not deemed it right to register a complaint with his employers itself to begin with. “When the complaint was about betting, did it not occur to you that you should gather more information and seek guidance from anyone else in BCCI? Why did you not do it? Why did you not put it down in writing in a report to BCCI?” Kallifullah said to Raman’s counsel, “You have done nothing. You are only looking after celebrities and just watching the fun.”Kundra’s counsel Shekhar Naphade argued for nearly an hour that action could only be taken against his client under the BCCI rules. He argued that as the Mudgal committee had not been formed under the BCCI rules, the court could not go by its findings and that his client should be allowed to cross question the report. Justice Thakur then said to him, “You are saying that even if there are problems [in Indian cricket], the court should not intervene.”The hearings resume on Tuesday afternoon.

وقال جريشة في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “ETC” ببرنامج “بوكس تو بوكس”: “كهربا يستحق ركلة جزاء أمام سيمبا التنزاني بعد تدخل عنيف من حارس المرمى بدون إشهار بطاقة صفراء للحارس”.

وأضاف جريشة في تصريحاته: “لكن حكم تقنية الفيديو تجاهل اللعبة ولم يقم بمراجعتها”.

وتابع: “عدم احتساب ضربة الجزاء قد يكون بسبب انطباع الحكم بعد نهوض كهربا سريعًا من أجل الاطمئنان على الحارس”.

وأتم: “وبالتالي قد يكون تخيل الحكم أن الخطأ ضد مهاجم الأهلي”.

وكان الأهلي قد نجح في اقتناص بطاقة التأهل إلى نصف نهائي بطولة دوري السوبر الإفريقي بعد أن انتهت مباراة الذهاب بالتعادل بهدفين لكل فريق.

ومن المقرر أن يواجه الأهلي نظيره ماميلودي صن داونز الجنوب إفريقي في نصف النهائي بعد تخطي الأخير نظيره بترو أتليتكو الأنجولي.

It is in fact six but nobody dared tell Samuels that.Then, the Jamaican dismissed the threat not just of Imran Tahir – who he had every right to disregard having hit him for 61 runs off 61 balls – but of all other spinners too. “I don’t think any spinner can bowl to me and dictate terms,” Samuels said. Nobody argued.Neither will Morne Morkel after Samuels’ quip, because the angle has worked for the fast bowler in this match. It’s never nice to have to survive 50 or 60 overs.”Especially when a significant number of them will be bowled by Steyn, who remains wicketless in the first innings. “You know Dale Steyn,” Morkel said. So do West Indies. After Steyn failed to make any incisions in the first innings in Centurion, he claimed six in quick time in the second. Peter Nevill posted his highest first-class score to help New South Wales to a first-innings lead over Tasmania on the second day of their Sheffield Shield match in Hobart. At stumps on day two, Nevill was still at the crease on 122 with Steve O’Keefe on 61, and at 7 for 353 the Blues had moved to an 81-run advantage.New South Wales had started the day at 2 for 23 and that became 5 for 66 before Nevill came to the crease to join Nic Maddinson. They combined for an 87-run partnership that steadied the innings before Maddinson was caught off a top edge from the bowling of Ben Hilfenhaus for 85.Sean Abbott (37) then provided support for Nevill during an 82-run stand, and Nevill was then joined by O’Keefe. They pushed New South Wales past Tasmania’s 272 and their partnership had reached 118 by the close of play. Late in the day, Nevill passed his previous first-class best of 112.
