ومن المقرر أن تجرى انتخابات الزمالك في يوم 20 من أكتوبر المقبل من أجل اختيار مجلس إدارة جديدة خلفًا للمجلس السابق بقيادة مرتضى منصور.

وقال هاني العتال خلال اجتماعه مع أعضاء الجمعية العمومية في نادي الزمالك: “الجمعية العمومية هي صاحبة النادي، والمرحلة الماضية كانت صعبة للغاية، وأتمنى أن يكون المستقبل أفضل”.

وأكمل: “عقب انتهاء الانتخابات، الاهتمام لن يكون منصبًا على فريق كرة القدم فقط، ويجب النظر لجميع الألعاب، وبسبب هذا الأمر ساعدت إدارة النادي الحالية لحل أزمة فريق كرة اليد، ونواصل حل أزمات الأعضاء”.

Pakistan have not won a Test series since beating England 3-0 in the UAE more than two years ago. Since then, they have won three Tests out of 15 and lost nine. Playing Tests after a gap of more than six months, their winless run continued as they were whitewashed by Sri Lanka for the first time. Misbah-ul-Haq said that his team was mainly outplayed by the brilliance of Rangana Herath.”Credit should be given to them the way they outplayed us but I still feel Herath was the only difference,” Misbah said. “It’s always difficult to take 2-0 defeat in Test cricket. It’s a part of the game but you haven’t lost to a low-ranked team. Sri Lanka are a fine side and recently won a series against England. So they have been playing well. Losing to them isn’t really a humiliation as they played better cricket them us.Herath was the name that dominated the Pakistan camp both on and off the field. He picked nine wickets in the first innings at SSC and another five in the second. Apart from Sarfraz Ahmed, who has played only eight Tests, none of the Pakistan batsmen were comfortable facing him. Over the last 10 years, Pakistan have given away 88 wickets to Herath.Asked if Pakistan had a weakness against the left-arm spin of Herath, Misbah said, “We played him pretty well in last series in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but this time he bowled very well and was totally a different bowler. That created a problem for us. We have played him better in the past.””Sarfraz was exceptional against him. I think it’s a case of one of the batsmen finding a tough bowler easy while others find it difficult. He was really confident and is presently at his best form. He has played some special innings since Sharjah. He has really become a very good batsman.”Pakistan fought well during the first three days of the SSC Test but suffered a second-innings batting collapse, just like in Galle. Rather than being critical of the batsmen, Misbah suggested the team to move on.”You only learn from your defeats and its not like we played bad cricket,” he said. “We did play good cricket but they were little bit better than us. When you lose 2-0 or 1-0 – it’s no different. You try to improve with every game you play and move on. Still there are positives for us.”Misbah said that after losing the Galle Test in the dying minutes, they were confident of making a comeback. “We were positive about the game as we had already gone down in series (before coming to SSC),” he said. “We tried to get them right from the start but lost our way. Herath’s spell downed us and his two wickets with the new ball (in the second innings) really hurt us.”Misbah might have brought a much-needed stability to the team but Pakistan’s track record in the last two years has had mixed results. They entered the series as the No. 3 Test team and dropped to six after the loss. Misbah said that every team played to win but losses were also part of the game. “Even Sri Lanka lost the home series against South Africa,” he said. “It’s an ongoing thing. You win, you lose. The beauty is you bounce back hard and try to win the upcoming series.”

Experienced left-arm spinner Rakesh Dhurv has switched from Gujarat to Vidarbha. Dhurv, 33, played for Gujarat in the past two seasons after having spent a decade in Saurashtra. His two years in Gujarat had been successful ones for him, taking 36 Ranji Trophy wickets in 2012-13 and following it up with 33 wickets in the next season.His impressive showings in 2012-13 led to a call-up to the India A side against the visiting Australians in February 2013, and the series against New Zealand A later that year. He has played 87 first-class matches, taking 245 wickets at 29.89.Dhurv becomes the third professional player to move to Vidarbha this season, after Tamil Nadu’s S Badrinath and Karnataka’s Ganesh Satish.

If Australia are to leave Zimbabwe with a tri-series trophy in their cabinet, they are going to have to get past an apparently indomitable obstacle in Faf du Plessis. South Africa’s No.3 is in the form of his career, having racked up 368 runs, including three centuries at close to a run a ball in this series. Had he not trod on his stumps when he had 121 on Thursday, he may well have passed 400 runs before the final. Aaron Finch and Mitchell Marsh, Australia’s leading run scorers, have accumulated 196 and 195 runs, respectively.”When he’s batting as well as he is, he doesn’t give you that many clues as to how to get him out,” George Bailey, Australia’s stand-in captain, said. “He is obviously in wonderful nick. We’ve got a couple of ways we hope we can try to contain him and, like anyone starting an innings, there’s always a chance to be dismissed. I guess the old cricket adage is that he’s due to miss out isn’t he? So hopefully that comes true.”Australia’s task of getting past du Plessis will be made a little more complicated by the fact that Saturday’s final will be played on a fresh pitch that has not been used in any of the six games so far. Australia had a look at the surface at their training session on Friday afternoon, and though it should have some life in it, neither Bailey nor the groundsman seemed entirely sure how it would play.”It is a new pitch, it’s an interesting looking pitch and I’ve never been particularly good at judging them at the best of times,” Bailey said. “But that one sort of looks like a little bit of everything. It looks like it might seam a little bit, it looks like it might spin a little bit, and it looks like there might be a few runs in it. So I’m going to have to ask somebody else, because I’ve really got no idea.”What the groundsmen have told us is that as you get closer to the center, the wickets do get quicker and bounce a little more, but the groundsman was very vague when I asked him about what he thought it was going to do, so really not sure. I can’t imagine it would be any different to what we’ve had throughout the series.”Aside from their loss to Zimbabwe last Sunday, this has been a reasonably successful trip for Australia. They’re 1-1 with South Africa going into the final, and appear to have unearthed a reliable all-round option in Marsh. Australia will also have one eye on getting their XI right ahead of the World Cup next year, but more immediately, the spin-friendly conditions in Zimbabwe may well be the ideal preparation for their next engagement, against Pakistan in the UAE next month.”It’s been great to see the development and a couple more games for guys like Mitch Marsh and Kane Richardson. It’s good to see Phil Hughes back in the side,” Bailey said. “I think Steven Smith has looked good in different roles within the team as well. There are some young guys coming through and stepping up in some challenging conditions, which is always great to learn from and to adapt to. In some ways, it’s a little bit like the subcontinent in some of the challenges you face in terms of the spin and whatnot, so that’s always good to learn from.”Australia will play a T20I, three ODIs and two Tests against Pakistan in UAE. Their last international trip to UAE was in September 2012, while in April this year, several IPL matches took place there, so they will have some experience of the conditions – though not at the exact time of year that they are due to play.”The UAE is really interesting. Depending on the time of year I think you can get quite different wickets. Certainly the last time we were there they were reasonably good batting wickets with a little bit of spin, and dew was a really important factor.”It was really challenging to overcome. It’s almost like you’d played after a monsoon or something, the grass was that wet on the outfield. And then during the IPL, playing games in the UAE, the ball tended to do a little bit, but once again a really nice batting wicket. So I’m not really sure what to expect there.”But one of the great things about playing in different parts of the world, is that challenge of having to adapt really quickly to conditions. The pleasing thing from the loss to Zimbabwe to the game against South Africa, was what we learnt from that game and how we were able to put those things that we talked about putting into place for the next game. Ideally in a final you want to go that one step further and play your best game of the tournament.”

Vitor Hugo volta ao time em que foi campeão da Copa do Brasil de 2015 e do Brasileiro de 2016 como titular.Defendeu o Palmeiras por dois anos e meio, sendo vendido para a Fiorentina por 8 milhões de euros (R$ 30 milhões, na época) na metade de 2017, ano em que chegou a ser convocado por Tite para defender a Seleção Brasileira.

Ainda não está marcada a apresentação dos atacantes Henrique Dourada e Luiz Adriano, anunciados nessa terça-feira.
