ربطت تقارير صحفية لاعب وسط الهلال ومنتخب السعودية، سلمان الفرج، بالتفكير في وضع حد لمسيرته الكروية بسبب كثرة الإصابات التي يتعرض لها في الفترة الماضية.

وغاب سلمان الفرج مؤخرًا عن خسارة منتخب السعودية وديًا في مباراتي فنزويلا وبوليفيا، كما غاب عن فوز الهلال أمس السبت أمام الخليج في مباراة مؤجلة من دوري روشن السعودي.

وكان الهلال أعلن في الساعات الماضية أن سلمان الفرج سوف يخضع لبرنامج علاجي تأهيلي يستمر لفترة تتراوح بين 3 إلى 4 أسابيع بسبب معاناته من ألم على مستوى عضلات الحوض، ما يعني غيابه عن مواجهة النصر يوم 18 أبريل المقبل في دوري روشن، وإمكانية غيابه عن ذهاب نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا يوم 29 من نفس الشهر ضد فريق أوراوا الياباني.

وقال الإعلامي السعودي سعود الصرامي عبر برنامج “الديوانية” المذاع على قناة “الرياضية السعودية”: ”الفرج يفكر في الاعتزال، سيقدم خطاب اعتزاله لشخصية هلالية اعتبارية”.

وأكمل الصرامي: “سلمان الفرج يرغب في الاعتزال بسبب كثرة الإصابات ولكن تلك الشخصية الاعتبارية ستحاول إقناع اللاعب بالتراجع كون الفترة المقبلة ستكون مهمة لأزرق الرياض حيث يستعد لخوض نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا”.

من جانبها ذكرت صحيفة “عكاظ” السعودية أن ما يقال عن اعتزال سلمان الفرج لا أساس له من الصحة وأكدت أن اللاعب يعاني من الإصابة ويركز على التعافي منها ثم العودة من جديد للمشاركة في التدريبات الجماعية والمباريات مع الهلال والمنتخب السعودي.

ودافع الإعلامي السعودي أحمد الشمراني عن الفرج مؤكدًا أنه لا يهرب من خوض المباريات وذلك بعد الاتهامات التي وُجهت للاعب بأنه يتعمد الهروب من مباريات المنتخب السعودي.

وقال الشمراني: “التقارير الطبية تؤكد إصابة اللاعب، كيف يهرب؟!، الفرج من اللاعبين القدوة، فما بالك وهو قادم على مشاركات قوية مع الهلال، ويريد أن يكون لاعبًا أساسيًا”.

ويتواجد الهلال في المركز الرابع في جدول ترتيب دوري روشن السعودي برصيد 42 نقطة من 20 مباراة لعب حيث حقق الفريق الفوز في 12 مباراة وتعادل في ست مباريات وخسر في مباراتين.
